I was wondering if anyone here has bought standard old English from cackle hatchery if so do they go broody often are they good free rangers how big were they I would also like to see some pictures of your standard old English from cackle hatchery

I have no pictures, although know they do go broody. Males top out around 5 lbs and females about 8 to 12 ounces lighter. They are good free-range birds. They are reputed by some to be "game" so you will not reliably be able to allow males together as adults.

Birds pictured on website are rougher looking than they appear when kept free range.
