Stray cat ate my quail

All of them. Hard to hate the cat, because it wasn't just a kill for fun thing. It ATE them. So I am guessing it was feral and VERY hungry.

I am doing a total rebuild on the pen. All hardware cloth...ne netting.

So if you have jumbo browns for sale in spring, be sure to look me up

Yup, musta been very hungry, or really likes quail.

Well getting rid of that one cat will not solve the problem, if the cat can get them other predators can too. Sounds like the rebuild is a great idea.
