I have 4 Embden geese. Three males and one female. All were raised together from birth. I've had them for over a year. Always stayed together as a foursome without fail. A couple weeks ago they started being a threesome and a loner. Now it is like that all the time. He is not allowed to be anywhere near the group. Any ideas what he could have done?

You have 2 many boys to the one female.

Every year I have the same problem with my ducks,
Its like they just got to kick some one out.

They are a flock that is housed and I let free range together in good weather.
however we have 4 boys and 6 girls
Last year they made one boy stay away it was very hard to watch
this year they made 2 of the boys stay away I had enough of that and seperated
them into 2 groups and divided the girls, and all was well.
When they finally gave up on romancing
in the late summer I put them all together again. And everything is back to normal.

You need 2 more girls maybe you can find a couple near you
