Give them a bath with some gentle soap, and make sure their feathers are clean (especially if they are white) Separate them to make sure none of their feathers get pecked at and to keep their feathers clean. You can put something like Vaseline on the combs and wattles to give them a more shiny look.

An obvious starting point is good care so they grow well and are healthy. (Appropriate feed, plenty of clean water, etc.)

If you keep their pen very clean and not crowded, they should be mostly clean, which could save a lot of scrubbing as the show gets close. (You may still need to wash them, but it will not be such a big job if they are mostly clean instead of mostly dirty.)
