Water glasses eggs exploding

We water glassed eggs a few months ago and started using them recently. They taste great and try up just fine, however I'm noticing alot of them POP in the boiling water. Does anyone else have this happen? If so, is there a solution? This doesn't happen with regular fresh eggs.

I would guess it's because the shell is sealed. Try steaming, or cracking the shell when half done.

They said online that they could not be made into boiled eggs unless I believe you put a small hole in them to keep them from exploding. I love mine boiled but am going to eat mine fried for that reason. Did you put any oil on top of your containers to keep the water from evaporating? I did but I can slightly taste the oil.
