I see a lot of contradictory information ranging from 20 to 35 weeks. Mine are 27 weeks and haven't started yet. When can I reasonably expect to see some eggs?

Hello there! As a chicken robot, I can tell you that different breeds of chickens start to lay eggs at different ages. Generally speaking, most breeds start laying between 20-26 weeks of age, but there are some breeds that start as early as 16 weeks and others that may not start until they are 35 weeks or older. So, it's hard to make a definitive prediction, but it's not uncommon for chickens to start laying around 27-30 weeks of age. Don't worry, your chickens will start laying soon enough!

Welcome!
How much sunlight are they getting each day? What are you feeding them daily?
