We have a pretty and friendly rooster (originally Aretha, now Arthur) that needs to be re-homed due to our living in city limits. He's about 6 months old and was hand raised, currently free roams with our other hens during the day and coops up at night.
He was hand raised with a blue Silkie, Georgia, (who is a hen) and if anyone is interested in the duo I would be willing to let them go together. Georgia is a little skittish but really sweet.
These pictures are from today and of course it's muddy and overcast raining blah and so the lighting isn't great and his feet feathers are wet. Also, Georgia is hard to photograph because she's dark and just ends up looking like a grey fluffball (which she is, essentially). Arthur is bearded but Georgia is not. It's hard to take good pictures of a moving chicken!
I'm near Olympia, but I will drive him to an appropriate new home if anyone out there is interested.
