Hi All, Pls see below for additional details about the NE US wild bird mystery disease... My question that I can't find information on is: Has it been affecting any Backyard Flocks?!
What: Nestling and fledgling songbirds – mainly blue jays, starlings, and common grackles, but also robins and cardinals – have been found with ocular and neurologic issues, and in some cases these birds have been found dead in large numbers.
Where: Numerous reports have been received across the United States including the Mid-Atlantic region, extending into the Southeast and eastern upper Midwest. When: Affected birds were first reported in mid-May in Washington, DC.
In late May, wildlife managers in the tri-state area (and West Virginia) began receiving reports of sick and dying birds with eye swelling and crusty discharge, as well as neurological signs.

THANKS!!
