  • Marchick Have not seen you on the thread in a long long time. Hope everything is good with you and yours.
I may not do much hatching this year. I'm up to 40 hens this year. That's alot of feed. I am get 20 eggs a day right now.
I would like a Blue sometime this year. No hurry and no pressure TOM
This says I can start a conversation. So I want 2 Splash Pullets I need to know when and where we could meet up. I am in Monse, Washington. Long drive.
We need to talk about price, what ever you think is fair. I know what it cost to raise these birds, so do be cheap! Message me back so we can see if this works. TOM

You can breed ur own splash maran just buy a rooster if the pulleys are sold out if u will take the risk and keep on breeding them but only hatch the round eggs if you want pullets if You only want pulleys don’t hatch out the oval eggs but don’t try the the breeding method it’s only for expiernced people that have beeen trainee to breed I’m just saying how you could but I don’t think its the best idea

I have a Black Copper right now that her crop has been filling. I just read give them 1t epson salt with a little water. It flushes them out. I did that two nights in a row and her crop was completly down. I have never seen a chicken poop so much. She must have been backed up. She is so much better now. I wish I had known that with snow white. don't know if tha works for impacted crop.

Interesting.I have been giving my hen, Brownie some Yeast Infection medicine, Three times a week, once a day.Its starting to clear up.Now my hen wouldn't eat or drink by herself. So I would have to syringe her water.
I think, when it comes to crop infections, EVERY chicken is diffrent, and you can't go by just ONE person's adivce, you have to expand.

I hope your Maran gets better, Coppers are so pretty.
