I USE THE RED THERAPY 360 MODEL ON MYSELF, MY DOG AND MY CHICKENS. BEST HEALTH CARE MONEY I THINK I'VE EVER SPENT
WOW...SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND. TODAY I FINALLY FOUND SOMETHING THAT HENNIE WILL EAT. PLAIN RAMEN NOODLES COOKED (WITHOUT SEASONING) RUBBERY LIKE WORMS. THEN MIX SOME BROKEN UP SARDINES IN THEM. SHE IS EATING THEM...SHE THINKS THEY ARE WORMS, I BELIEVE HOPE THIS GETS OUT THERE AND HELPS SOMEONE ELSE
After buying 12 chicks from Tractor Supply in June Had raccoons dig in and kill all 12. So after working to make it more secure, got 8 Speckled Sussex from someone who's daughter shows at the fair. In 17 years the first time I had any predators dig in so I added hardware cloth to keep them from the run.

OUTSMARTING THE PREDATORS IS A BIG JOB AND REQUIRES STRATEGY. THEY ARE VERY HUNGRY THESE DAYS
A quick update on my baby , she’s spoiled rotten but doing amazing . Thank you all for all the help with my special girl. 💜
Wanted to share pics of our coop... We finally got it all set up the way I had originally intended (except I wanted the nest boxes in a different spot, but this works, too)! Just a few finishing touches, and it will be done! (After only a year and a half... 🙄)
One question, though - most of my hens won't go up to the top nest boxes to lay. Any suggestions to get them interested?

If they're used to laying in the bottom three, you could switch those to something less desirable, like a plastic nesting mat, and keep the nice straw bedding for top boxes only. No clue if this would work, but it's what I would do!
