So, to give you an idea how wet is is out here on the prairie, I took a couple of pictures today. I know they’re hard to see, but the white spots in the pictures below are pelicans. In a cornfield. While pelicans are commonly seen here in the summer, they’re not commonly seen in cornfields.

I can see the fancy GF cake for the bride and groom. I like the idea of cupcakes or mini cupcakes and maybe one other type of dessert. Or two? I’m a sugar fiend, so I would definitely take more than one if I had options. A cupcake for sure. The rest sounds delicious as well!

I just bought a freeze dryer. Once I get it up and running, I will take the eggs I water glassed last fall and dry them.
