I’ll try and get pictures. We’re actually building a new coop at the moment so I’ll add padded roosts to the to do list. How would you suggest treating the blister?
I noticed Sally had a scab/sore on her abdomen today. No swelling and it doesn’t look like there is any puss build up. Really not sure how she could’ve gotten this. Should I treat it or does it look like something that will heal by itself?
Her feet have been curled since the beginning (almost a month now), but before she wouldn’t move whatsoever so I didn’t notice it as much. I’ll clean up her feet and try to take better pictures. I’ve given her B12, but need to get B 2. Thank you so much for the help!
Hello everyone, I haven’t updated y’all in awhile because the holidays have been so hectic. Nel is rid of all signs of love (no lice or lice egg sightings). There is one problem though, she can’t walk. Her toes are all curled up and she can’t seem to incurl them. She hobbles around a little bit...
What I meant by directly was that it doesn't have me make a water solution with it, which @Eggcessive suggested, but apply the powder directly. Thank you all for your help!
Sorry for responding so late. I do not think it's a reproductive issue as I have had two hens with it before, but I could be wrong. Her crop doesn't seem abnormal. She does eat and drink some and poops. I gave her another bath today and I think I might have found lice eggs on one feather shaft...
I've been really busy all week and haven't been able to update y'all. Nel is practically the same. She eats when we hand feed her, drinks water on her own, and I have been giving her electrolytes. She isn't lethargic, but just sits. She still has no sense of balance and can't stand. I'm not sure...
Definitely not broody, I did worry that my description may sound like it. Unfortunately a vet isn't an option in my area. We got her to eat something today which is good.
