As for her crop she doesn’t really ever eat enough for me to say it’s full or empty. They will be heading in to the hen house soon I’ll check her crop again tonight. We really didn’t find anything physically unusual. Guess that’s good and bad 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

We have one 10 month old hen that seems to sleep a lot more than our other 3 hens…and the roo doesn’t sleep enough!! Our hen is doing really well after the 2nd dose of Corid. We started introducing both our younger ones to the flock again today. Many thanks to the friendly helpful folks here at BYC!!

We think she is getting better. Tomorrow is day 5 is the second Corid treatment. She seems to have a good appetite and drink. Poo looks normal. She still seems to sleep more than her twin but is more awake than she had been.

Should I take her off corid and try poultry cell until the sulfa arrives?

Ordered some sulfa antibiotic this morning. Hoping it gets here soon!

Crop seemed empty this morning. No bulges or hard spots from her beak down to her breast. Her poop seems pretty normal.

She is also due for the 2nd dose of Ivermectin on Tuesday.

I don’t know what is wrong with her other than she fluffs up and sleeps standing up. She has some very normal behavior then goes to sleep standing up. https://imgur.io/a/aEDE5bl
