Thank you! Still sort of new to growing garlic.
I've only grown hard necks one time. The scrapes were yummy! Bulbs were small? Could have been me?
It's already getting hot here. Mine had started to lay down. Then 2 days of rain when I had time to dig. I was pleased it didn't rot.
I watered flowers and picked blueberries today.
I got my garlic dug this week. I decided to plant too late to order so I just picked up some grocery store soft neck. It was planted last Oct. I think it did okay. Some got pretty big.
I noticed my banana tree had a bloom. It's never bloomed...
Yesterday I ran another row of trellising on the tomatoes. I had to stand on a milk crate this time. That will be as high as I trellis. Any taller they will flop over and keep going. I'm only 5 ft tall!
You can see in the photo my potato foliage is dying back. Will be digging these...
Thank you! DH and a buddy built the tree for me and supplied the bottles (beer). 😂
Cobalt blue is a favorite color of mine too.
I have several junk pieces, some vases and stuff and an early 1900s med bottle I bought for 50 cents at a garage sale.

Naturally acid soil. Most hydrangeas react to the acidity of the soil. Because our soil is so acid I do not do anything special and they are deep blue. The hard part for me is if I want pink. I'd have to use a lot of lime and do it each year.
Determined to have a pink one at least 1 time in...
Beautiful garden @StinkyAcres

I wish I could have tulips that would come back. In the past I planted some of the Darwin Hybrid tulips. They came back a couple years but got smaller until they disappeared.
We just do not have long cold spells to keep them going.
This past winter was not cold enough for my peonies. I only got...
Some call Datura moon flower. It grows as a shrub.
There is another plant also referred to as moon flower. I think it's botanical name is Impomea alba. This one is a vine in the morning glory family.
It's flower looks just like the white datura and smells good too.
Last year I planted the...
Yes it is hallucinogenic and can be toxic. I plant these far away from the chickens. They are in an area where the deer and rabbits destroyed all my hosta. They do not even sniff these. The butterflies, bees and
hummingbirds love them.
It is amazing the number of common garden plants are toxic.
All cows are not fully recovering. Some of the cows after recovering from the virus are not producing milk and do not put weight back on. Some of these are being cullled by farmers.
What I do not understand is there is no mandatory reporting as well as only limited testing for cows and workers...
