I'm thinking of putting my feeder outside, so it would have to be reasonably waterproof....and I have seen feeders with stoppers to close to keep out rodents. I'm more concerned with the reviews that say their chickens get "stuck" in some of them.

I've been researching the various automatic (PVC) feeders for chickens, and so many people complain about their chickens ripping out feathers, the feed gets wet, the chickens crawl inside and die.....which one is the best for most flocks of adult chickens?

You had a good experience with Temu? I don't trust them....but that's my opinion.

I would install a flashing light on a motion sensor. Talk to your neighbors and ask them if they'd rather have a light that comes on to warn everyone of a possible bear attack, or just wait until it breaks into their house.

I am making my roost/poop board so that it sits on heavy-duty brackets that can also go up or down, depending on the weather. The brackets are the John Sterling BK-0103-22 Fast Mount 300-Pound Capacity 20-Inch Shelf Bracket and the part that screws into the studs on the wall are Knape & Vogt...

This is a photo I took of our new kitten, Puzzy, and our little dog, Abey. Puzzy puffed his tail out as big as he could, just in case he had to scare Abey away.

I put down a single sheet of backed vinyl flooring - easy to install, and I tacked it in place with 1x4's around the edges, where it comes up about 3".
