Have you tried adding a probiotic? And why is she on Corid and fenben? Does she also have parasites?

No. I'm good. It probably gets there sooner than my guess, but I don't have time to math right now because I am performing activities closely related: chickening!
That's what I'm worried about as well - the hearing part. But chickens have good hearing. They would have to be a long away apart to NOT hear each other. I'm not sure though. I haven't done it before.
So, we are toying with the idea of a bachelor pad, as well. From my understanding, this only works if the roos can't see the little princesses on the other side - or they will fight.
I'm hoping someone else will weigh in on this. I know debate exists over bachelor pads and I would like to hear...
They have roosting rails in the pen. I thought that would be better since they were so small. Honestly, I didn't even realize they were 4 weeks old until I started writing this post.
Our 7 month old Australorp pullet, Angelina, hatched several eggs 4 weeks ago. She has been a sweet and dutiful mama, but seems to have lost interest in her chicks - and laid her first egg since being broody today.
