    Help!

Help! I have an egg that piped last night at around eight since the initial pip it hasn't made any progress. It's still peeping and moving but I'm just worried since it has been over twelve hours. Any advice?

    Breed/hatching tips 🦆

Hi here is my first duck egg! Yay! I have a couple of questions🥚: 1. Any idea on breed (I will try to get better pictures!) 2. Any hatching tips you may have. I have hatched chickens many times and a duck once but I hope to do a larger hatch in March 🐣 🦆

    Help!!!!!!

My broody hen had six chicks, she crushed one and is pecking the others but only in the nesting box. When you take her out she is fine and she takes care of them. I separated her from the flock and the nesting box and so far she is taking care of them. What do I do? This has never happened to me...

    Breed?

I was told that my Duck Gertrude, is a Cayuga (that's what the lady I bought it from said). However I don't think that's the case. I'm thinking maybe a Khaki Campbell? But I'm new to ducks, so what do you guys think?

    What is my Duck? 🦆

Two questions; 1. Breed? 2. Gender Info: The first duck is Fifi, 3 weeks old (I know that's a bit young for age but any guesses?), I'm thinking boy. The second duck is Gertrude, 4 weeks old, I'm thinking Khaki Campbell, and girl. Thanks for your opinions!!! 😊 I will add a file of the ducks voice...

    What killed it?

The only reason I disagree with an owl is because the chicken was found in an enclosed coop. The only way to get it in there is through a small door that was open. I don't think an owl would drag it into an enclosed coop with a roof on it. But thank you for your reasoning. (I also don't mean to...

    What killed it?

I dont think this is the case becaise we have an enclosed coop for at night. (It has a roof, sides, the only opebibgs are the door for me to collect eggs, and the door where they go into the run) we found her body in the coop. From further inspection it looks like she was killed in the run but...

    What killed it?

I have put a camera up but not inside the coop I put it in the woods next to my coop. I have seen a coyote and several raccoons. I am guessing its a racoon that killed the most recent bird. Would a racoon take its head?

    What killed it?

I am usually able to go out at night and close them the only reason I lefft it open was because of my trip. But thanks for your suggestion I will look into it!

    What is killing my chickens?

Update I saw a single coyote, and raccoons. (I also saw many deer although that isn't relevant) another bird was killed while I was on vacation. It was killed in the run of tbe pen then dragged into the pen area where the chickebs lay eggs and roost. Its whole head is missing, and only the bones...

    What killed it?

Hi, so I recently went on a camping trip. While I was gone I had no one to watch my chickens so I just left them with plenty of food and water. I also kept the small dore to the run open so they had acess to the run. (I was only gone for 3 days) when I came back I found a pile of bones in the...
