It's hard not to catastrophise but worrying will do neither you nor Lilly any good. As micstrachan said it may not be that bad. The vet, not being an avian specialist, may just want help in translating the data.

When a friend of mine had baby chicks she used to carry them around with her by tucking them into her bra. You could try that until you are able to get her some company. She would stay warm that way too.
