    Bloody wattles

    I have 9, 6 week old chicks. 4 Amber links, 5 Barred Rocks. Two of the Amber links have bloody wattles. I haven't seen why this happened and the blood is now dried. Does anyone have any idea why this has happened or any advice on how to prevent this?
