I’m not sure what to do. It has been about three months now, and she’s still sitting on the same egg. She looks fine and can still walk. After I tried to get her up, she sat right back down. I never really want to interfere with anything, but this has been way too long. What should I do?
I have two peahens and one peacock all living together in a large greenhouse that was repurposed to a peafowl house.
Both peahens are sitting.
The first sat on six eggs and the second is currently sitting on three.
Today is day 27 for the first peahen and two hatched, but I found them dead in...
Here’s what I did. Idk if this will help it or hurt it. The toes are taped down, leg is wrapped up, and the duckling is leaning up against the cardboard. It looks uncomfortable and I feel bad. Any suggestions? Ideas? Will this hurt it?
I moved my month old ducklings closer to the pond yesterday. To get them used to the area, I put them in a temporary dog crate kinda like this:
This morning, I went to check on them. THREE WERE MISSING!!
The door was latched.
No trace of anything.
Nothing.
Here’s a picture I took yesterday...
I recently received these chocolate Muscovy ducklings off of Craigslist. Something is wrong with the duckling’s right leg. It’s holding it up like a flamingo. It can move its leg but not its toes. Anyone know what happened? Is there a cure?
Is this peafowl house big enough? It used to be a greenhouse😂 I have 4 peafowl. I have 1 peacock and 3 peahens. They are all about a year old. I have a problem with them going out and about on my property pooping, jumping on cars, and roosting on the roof. Any suggestions? I’m thinking about...
I have four Great Pyrenees dogs. Two are the parents and the other two are their puppies. One girl and one boy. The parents’ names are Duke and Duchess. I want to keep the royalty theme. The children of a Duke and Duchess is a Lord and a Lady. But there’s a problem. Calling a dog lord is weird...
I’m thinking about getting a donkey to protect my chickens. My chickens are fenced in and I even have 4 Great Pyrenees guard dogs.. well actually 2 because the other 2 are puppies. However, we are still losing chickens to a fox! One of my dogs runs down to the coop when they hear something but...
I have Indiana blue peafowl. 3 girls 1 boy. They all turned a year old today and one of them laid an egg! I wish to hatch it. They live in a greenhouse with edits just for them. There are no nesting boxes. The egg is just on the floor. Will she hatch it on her own?
I was bored and decided to make this thread! Feel free to follow along or talk about your cat’s birth! My cat (Luna) is going to have her 3rd litter around the 1st week of August. It’s fun to guess what they will look like!! In her first litter, there were five boys.
Her second litter had 3...
