My grandfather, (not the one who has dementia who lives with me,) came to visit me and my family. I decided to surprise him with one of my Dutch oven meals. I made him Peach cobbler. It worked out well, but next time I need to drain the peaches more. A little too much liquid on the bottom.

Had a bit of a scare last night. One of the chicks escaped the brooder and I couldn’t find her until 9:00 PM. She wasn’t hurt, she was calmly roosting on the food storage shelf. How she got up there, I don’t know. I guess she’s a good jumper.
