The worse feeling in the world is when your feral flock rooster AND his harem are in their future pen (not ready gotta redo the coop) and you can't just trap them the buttheads :hit (can't use the words I said irl not kid friendly) threw them some feed to keep them coming there
Morning sunrise
Lost a silkie last night to a predator because I let them sleep in the igloo due to it being drier after the deluges from yesterday. Of course its a bloody hen that dies :he
Unfortunately it's life.
I would say depending where you live horses can be affordable but is genuinely depends on region, your discipline of choice, breed etc.
We have two minis, use to have big horses but unfortunately them to EPM and overian cancer. I lost my mini due to a water snake t.t lovely animals but the vet bills hurt.
I live
After two weeks of fighting walmart got my daytime med finally :wee
Enjoying a tasty late breakfast after tending the creatures.
Farm raised eggs ofc with veggie sausages, fruit and butter toast.
Roofl yeah the wind gust be bad.
To the point we had a wildfire started :hmm got the firefighters out and all that, thankfully no animal or important stuff hurt. Not being fined because we helped and the fire was started yesterday, just the wind got a spark to jump good 10 feet. We wanted to...
Gotta get 2%-1% fat for the babies tomorrow, apparently full fat milk can be a bit too much for the piglets.
Before asking, we're trying home made because honestly we wouldn't be able to afford milk replacer again as the price almost tripled since last year. :hmm
We plan to incubate to try to break the cycle with Fowl Cholera.
This will let us also really cull for select traits instead of mother nature, or the goats trampling
Yeah, we are gonna redo the run and trap the birds left to collect their eggs to hatch. Will build out proper pens for breeding projects so we can avoid this in the future.
My meds make me more likely to burn
Also mosquitoes, ain't gonna expose the precious bits to them :th
Different note: down to under 20 birds now. Feels utterly weird.
