Wow, Cyn, that quilt is beautiful!
I hope got a good night's rest last night These long/short nights can really mess your day up. Talking about storms, I'm waiting for our predicted foul weather. We managed to go from quite warm to sleet in the space of a few hours 2 days ago. Not bad?
That's very nice too! It's a great project for those little left-over scraps of fabric and so much fun… And no worries about anything being "perfect"! It's just a fun project. I love it
I'm glad to hear you got a refund, Cyn. I guess getting the company to admit the dye job on your fabric was a mess was asking a bit too much, but at least they refunded you.
Love the new fabrics! Heaven help me if I ever go near that place and start shopping… They have WAY too many lovely...
Oh wow! I love those, Cynthia I wish you were closer, so I can give you some of my fabric that I have lying around… I have some here that I'm not sure what to do with. You are so creative with your scraps and strips of fabric.
Cynthia, that pink is gorgeous!
I'm nearly done with my quilt and planning to visit a fabric shop in a nearby town next week for supplies for the next one. I decided on the colours I want for this one and I'm looking forward to seeing what they have for me. I had a quick look in there a few...
Love the bird fabric too! I find it hard to find nice designs of animals or birds on printed fabric for quilting. I made one quilt to order for a little girl who liked animals. After failing to find suitable fabric I popped in at this lovely shop that sold all sorts of Indian clothing and more...
Thank you, Cyn. Doesn't quite match your creations yet, but I'm happy with them It's hard to believe not 10 years I only sewed when I had to. Now I do it for fun?
Debby, yes, batting, but not a thick one. Maybe 4mm thick. It pads the quilt enough and it's surprisingly warm.
Thank you, Cyn, yes I agree, it is nice when others appreciate your hard work! I did make an orange and green one about 2 years ago and a blue one that went to a BYC member in the States and now mine (finally one for me!) is nearly done
I can't remember if I showed you the blue one. I have...
