I got a couple of pictures that are a little better of the one I’m not sure is a pullet or a cockerel. I realize it is still too early to tell, but can you just tell me if there’s a chance it is a hen? Lol
At about what age will I know for sure what this one is? The legs are definitely thicker than my other SG, and she is the only one who will bow when I show up at the brooder. Not sure if that is actual chicken body language or if she knows where the food comes from lol.
That looks just mine except she has white on her wings and her beak is all yellow. I guess I will just have to wait and see what she looks like in another month or two. She is definitely growing faster than any of my other chicks.
How does the gold ring on a string work? Do you put it above them and see which direction it swings? I have two SGs that are 3 weeks old, and I have that is growing MUCH faster than the other. The comb is also HUGE compared to the rest! I’m curious to try the test for fun!
