I sure would examine it closely,you can try putting some ACV into his drinking container 1-2 Tab per gallon that can help kill some bacteria and can help heal too. Also Vetericyn spray for wounds and infections is good. Both of these mean not having to spread something on it if it's loose

I don't think I'd use Blue Kote on the wing being you'll not be able to get a good idea what it looks like when it's purple. Can you wash it off real good with warm water with salt mixed in? and keep the lil one inside away from flies or your going to be dealing with maggots.

@CayugaJana has one now that has a broken wing and she wrapped her several times and she kept getting out of it so she now has her wrapped and with a part of a legging over her whole body I'd say that would work for 2 wings. Hopefully she'll see this tag and talk about what she did.
