I don't read yaoi (or yuri, both are just gross, in my opinion), so I wasn't aware that it tended to be done in a more feminine style.
What is the "sema," by the way?
Yes. I occasionally try to do more realistic things, but not usually anything more than eye and lip sketches.
The more things that you can break down into basic shapes, the better. Limbs and fingers are cylinders, palms and feet are squares and rectangles, the body is made up of squares, etc..
I never noticed that before, though then again, I don't usually look at details like that. That's interesting, though!
I might like this one's appearance more than that of the original!
(I have a bit of a bird bias)
I think that she just says the usual, "Hey! Watch where you're stepping! Didn't they teach you to always be alert at the Academy? You can't be a knight if you don't watch where you're going," or something like that before saluting and flying off.
Sure!
Oh, "Larkin!" That's clever -- like a lark!
I love how so many of the residents of the Sky have names inspired by birds or bird-related things.
I think that my favorite might be Piper, the chef in the Bazaar -- I like shorebirds, and for something to be "piping" means that it's hot, like a...
Creepy pretty boy.
He's pretty fun to fight, though....
When you fall over the edge of an island? It varies, I think, but I'm not sure what determines who catches you. I think that it might be that there's one knight around Skyloft, another pretty much everywhere else in the Sky, and one who...
Ooh, a 12-holed one, even! My sister has a 10-hole, but she doesn't play it. I don't either, but I would like to learn -- as of right now, the only musical talent that I have is my singing, and that's entirely up for debate, in my opinion.
Yeah, some people draw weird stuff. I don't actively look for fanart.
:hugs Don't be too harsh on yourself -- it takes practice to get good at drawing, but the practice sketches that you do along the way will keep getting better.
I'd like to finish my third run-through of Tales of Symphonia, and then go through The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess again.
One of these days, I'll go back and try to finish Lost in Shadow. I don't even remember how far I am in it, but I think that it's somewhere past the halfway mark.
I've only played the GameCube version, though -- I think that by this point, if I tried to play the re-release on the Wii, I'd get incredibly confused because everything was flipped.
"Okay, now I go lef -- wait, no, right? Is it right? I thought that it was left!"
I love that game! Still have it, along with a GameCube.
I haven't played any games more recent than... I dunno, maybe 2015 or so. No Switch or handhelds.
As far as Nintendo console games go, I'm a fan of Kirby, The Legend of Zelda, some Mario games -- especially the Mario Galaxy games -- Super...
