They were my only 2. I got them after they had been rehomes several times and so I put them together in their own area in the bantam palace. It has 4 coops and runs and they could see the others but never showed any interest. The main bantam flock has a roo. The seramas have 2 roos and the...

The one thing I hate about keeping chickens, is waking up excited to see your babies and finding one that didn't wake up. One of my Japanese Bantams roosters fell asleep for the final time. He was looking off yesterday kinda sluggish like they do when they have coccidia. I treated their water...

Meet Topaz. He is a Sapphire Gem/Easter Egger. Mom is the gem, dad is the egger. He is one of the roo teenagers we hatched from our original flock. All the boys have the orangish broen color on them somewhere and fluffy cheeks just like dad.

When Miracle lived inside because of her disability, we had diapers. I love them. She had a harness to I could take her to stores and she could get stronger walking. I'd diaper up all 78 of them and being them in if I could but am guessing I will be divorced pretty quickly.

How are you not a popsicle? I'm not a cold weather person. No matter how many clothes you wear, something is going to stay frozen. Then you sweat and get cold again. It's a vicious cycle. If I could, I'd build bedrooms on to the house and the babies could have their own rooms
