Thank you. I've been very busy. All is well. I've been provided with my very own assistant at work. I even got to hand pick her!
The chooks are doing well. I've lost a few here and there, but overall everything is good. Ned is still my leader. Goodie and Livi are both over 4 now.
There's one on the loose in York County, about an hour south of me.
Elvis, the one from Perry County, is still with the young lady that captured him. They have a Facebook page and post regularl updates. They recently gave him an additional 1.5 acres to roam.
I'm so far behind again. 😩
This past week was a year that we took Josh in for foster and fell in love with him. He's a quick throw back to no pants Joshie. ❤
His beautiful self yesterday soaking up the heat.
I have some terrible news...
A coyote helped itself to all 3 chooks in my silkie pen and both of my Phoenix. I'm absolutely devastated.
My layer flocks is fine thankfully.
Well, you see, have have a big heart and a hard time saying no. 🤣
They were all rescues/strays of some sort. The mostly white cat, Josh, was a foster fail. He has it so good here this past summer he brought home a starving, pregnant tabby kitten to have her babies here. All the kittens found...
Sit tight folks I've got some Caturday posting to make up for.
These 2 were adopted together by my good friend Kellie. They are now named Harley and Davidson. They were about 8 weeks old here.
Here's Harley now. She's 14 weeks old and still a tiny whisper of a cat.
Here's Josh playing uncle...
Now that's it getting cold, all 5 cats are inside every night. Of course I do a head count, and I can not find Scooby last night.
Anna was with her dad, but I noticed the lights above her bed were on. I walk in and not only are her light on, but I also
find Scooby...
Apparently not only did...
