I don't know what the temps were here yesterday but it was really nice. I was building raised beds in the greenhouse, both doors (incl the roll-up tractor door) wide open & it was perfect. I thought I was buying lumber for one more but I'm not sure now. DH thinks I should leave that space open...
For recreation, I'll grant you, but how crazy are you to get on a shore boat headed to land in Pearl Harbor... so there is that. I still think I'd do it—recreationally or otherwise. I would already have done if it for the kix if it weren't so expensive, when there are plenty of other fun things...
The only things I've ever had bite me under water were minnows. Crabs honestly aren't that interested in pinching you. If you pick them up, the only thing I've had them do is try to get away. The minnows can be really annoying after a while, though.

I'm always with someone who freaks out if I get closer to the edge than ten feet. 🙄 When I'm alone they're still there in my head but it's easier to ignore them. 🤓 Seriously it does give me a bit of a rush sometimes, and I realize the edge could suddenly shear off (it happens), but seriously...
No need to worry. If you get lost, just keep walking. Eventually you'll see something you recognize and then you're good. I've done it over and over but now I pretty much know where everything is, so no more interesting surprises. 🤷♀️
I'd be worried about posting this sort of thing anywhere online. Not chastising you... it's not wise, even though I understand you're just blowing off steam.
