I will use cumin in very small amounts if a recipe calls for it. I just don't like the flavor profile. I don't care much for chili either. Maybe that's why...🤔
Not to me. Chili powder, maters, and cocoa are the flavors I think of. I am also not much of a chili fan. I'm really not a picky eater, I swear. I will eat what's in front of me. Except for freaking slimy bell peppers, and mushrooms!!
I use cumin when it is called for in a recipe (such as carnitas), but it's gotta be a very minor accent, not overpowering. I know too many people that abuse cumin. The smell alone! Blech.

Cumin is another flavor profile that i don't care for. The seeds aren't as powerful as the powder, but I still use them minimally. Tastes like lentil beans. Gross.
Will you freak out to know that I also think buttercream frosting is disgusting? Almost all cake is nasty barring super dense dark chocolate cake, and frosting is simply an unnecessary pile of slop ruining it. I make exceptions for whipped cream frosting, and every now and then, a cream cheese...
