We follow an observatory's YT channel. It's at a small college out here. It's so fricking interesting. Haven't seen much lately because our state is currently underwater, but love astronomy. Took several classes in college just for fun.

That's hilarious! It's a lot nicer than what I assume you really call us.
And we're not all liberals. I live in "The State of Jefferson." There is a huge swath of folks up here who want the northernmost areas of CA to become the 51st state. We are waaaaay too close to Nevada.
We have a similar problem in California. Folks think it's all sunshine and beaches.... and whatever San Francisco is (a stinky cesspool, if we're gonna be real). Most of the state is actually very rural. But tourism!
