We did too when we had a one acre garden in MO. They we got some super sweet corn and sold that for a $1.50 a dozen. No one complained about the price when they tasted it. It was $6 a dozen in TN at he farmers markets a couple of years back.
I'm so old I remember when you could buy a bushel basket of fresh sweet corn for $3. I saw it a couple of days ago in a small town grocery store for $18 a dozen. :rant

I'm to old I remember when local small mom and pop grocery stores let the neighbor hood kids pick up small groceries for their parents and they had a running tab for them to charge them to.
I'm so old I need to keep a list of grandkids and great grandkids so I have their names some where I will not forget them. I have no clue how old they are not and to adult ones I know not where they live. Well one I do. Some where in HI.
Who knows where their phone is hiding? I'm so old I can't remember where mine hides most of the time. One thing about even the old party lines you never lost a phone unless the house burnt down.
