Sorry about the loses
The first chick is from a Blue Hen Skye with a Lav Roo Clyde over her.
The heavy tufted is my Bi-lateral tufted hen Midnight with the Lav Roo Clyde I can tell those beautiful tufts anywhere
The clean faced rumpless blacks are my black pullet (midnights daughter)...
Oh look at the little babies. I see a baby bonnie, a baby bella, and a baby midnight (meaning I know who the mamma is ) Just and FYI if you have black chicks they are all split to Lavender so if you breed the Lav chick and the blacks you will get more Lav Offspring
So cute! Love it

I did they said charging $1 per bird wasn't bad since the lab runs three different tests for collection of blood and throat swapping. They considered it a bargain

Hi, I volunteered for the State of Connecticut Healthy Poultry Survalliance program. I didn't realize that when I did this I had to pay!!! The Dept of Ag sends out two testers to my house for the day. That is probably why I pay per bird I'm guessing. Last time the two of them were hear 6+ hours...

I hear you!! I have to pay a dollar a bird every three months to do the 2 different A.I. tests and the S. Pullorum test. I have 300+ birds but only 160 breeders but, if you do the math 4x160= 640!!!!!!
He was a blk cockrel when I purchased him last year and then when he molted he had gold leakage on his neck. This one was born in April and I gave away the rooster to a friend who just needed a good roo for hawk protection. I didn't want to use him for breeding once I saw the leakage.
