    Often pullets don't show copper. She is still a copper as she carries the genes and SHOULD NOT be breed or sold as a black..... genetically she will not make blacks.

    That is a BIG expense in WA from what I heard. You have to pay a vet and pay per test or something crazy like that.

    That pullet is not cuckoo. Blue is a leaky gene so the blue will be uneven sometimes. If you are refering to the color in the hackels, that is not barring. Barring is black and white. You are just seeing the black and copper in the hackles. As @desertmarcy said the comb is really odd on...
