I kind of wonder how much nutritional value the pulp has after you've squeezed the juice out. I use a manual, masticating (wheatgrass technically, but it handles just about everything) juicer so it's still pretty moist, but I'm not sure I'd make food for the family out of it.
I gave the chickens carrot/strawberry pulp in an orange rind this morning...we'll see if they eat it. BTW I use a manual wheatgrass juicer for everything and it works fine. A little more elbow grease is needed, but I'm OK with that since what I'm looking for is low RPMs to reduce nutrient...
