Yup! I take the jar lifter to hold it on the top and I grab the bottom with a towel and turn it over and leave it for 24hours. And honestly as long as you wipe down the jar mouth before putting on the lid, it should seal just fine. However, my mom hasn’t had very good luck with the Walmart brand...

I do it to help it seal the lid. Even though the water bath is more than likely enough, I do it anyway. My mom doesn’t do a water bath for most of the things she cans and instead just turns it upside down to get the lid to seal.

Did a lot of baking yesterday. Well a lot for me 😂. And canned some cucumbers for pickles. Made pineapple coconut zucchini bread and a herb and cheese zucchini bread.

Made zucchini chocolate chip muffins for the kiddos

Made a rhubarb pie…and this is what’s left. Poor husband may not get any….🤷‍♀️

I love that! I do so much with strawberries that I have thought about growing my own. I just know that as a kid they got out of control. But my step dad did something different than my mom and dad that I might try to help contain them

Made the kids some extra stuff for breakfast. They love it so much! Just glad it doesn’t take too long to make!

I love making my own crust! Making pizza is an awesome way to get my kids helping me make dinner. 😁

Last night at 9pm I decided to make lemon raspberry cupcakes. I wasn’t even thinking that I ran out of pipping bags so I had to just throw on the icing. Either way, it was good and goes to the same place 😁

I put my potatoes in a plastic grocery bag. I put a small hole in it and cook it in the microwave. I adjust the time by how big they are and how many. I don’t do this often but it a quick way to soften it up. Makes great baked potatoes last min. Normally last min happens in my house

That would be cool to bake for a career. I’m so far from being able to do that. However I did bake someone a birthday cake and was paid for it. But it was so easy my kids could have done it. It was the Harry Potter cake they showed in the movie and described in the book. 😂

Oh yes I do. 🤣 my 2 year old won’t give up until he get what he wants. Needless to say with him having 5 older sisters and his dad spoiling him because he is the only boy….I will never win 😭. Though the mug cakes would end up with less dishes….🤔.
