I have a question for y’all.
I have corn flour.
Is corn flour the same thing as corn meal?
And if not, and I have a recipe calling for cornmeal, can I substitute with corn flour?
it reads like it would come out more like a fudge or chocolate eggs lol since there is no flour substitute (like beans, or banana)
I want to try it I have everything except the bittersweet

Has anyone here ever made black bean chocolate cake? It has NO flour. and it is delicious! I am going to post the recipe when I find it lol
I make navajo fry bread sometimes but technically its not baked it fried.
2 c flour
1 c warm water
2 TBSP baking Powder
1 tsp salt
mix it, squish it, flatten it, make 4 or 6 or even 8 flat circles (depends on how big u want them)
Fry in some oil , both sides, med temp
I put stuff on them...
i usually make it x12 and use 2 glass roasting pans -
and for the x12 it’s either 12 chicken eggs or nine duck eggs or three goose eggs lol
The chicken eggs and the duck eggs are good
but it doesn’t come out that great with goose eggs
may I add that this recipe is great for using up lots of eggs , and Ive made it with duck eggs but use less to make up for the bigger size of my ducks eggs

This is what it looks like and this is the closest recipe I have found and tried it and I think its very close to her recipe (link) but idk why nobody calls it orshteds Im most likely spelling it wrong it could be a german word...
