Thank you again for the frosting recipe! I made it this morning and my family and I love it!
I can’t wait to try it on my sweet fruit rolls this summer😋
Thank you! I’m sure I will:) This site in general has been a wonderful place to come for advice, support, sharing, and just conversation. 😊
That’s how I make mine😁 At least half need chocolate chips.
It does. I love kneading dough, but it’s just too much now unfortunately.
This “dough” setting has me so happy. I can still get my hands on the dough without having to do all the kneading work. 😁
Hey everyone 👋
I just started using my bread machine for making dough. I’ve made bread many times but never tried the dough setting. So glad I finally did! My hands are bad so making bread dough takes a lot out of me. Now I get to make some of my favorites with hardly any effort on my part...
I bet! I’ve never seen cherry jam for sale anywhere, or heard of anyone making it. Do you add anything in particular to it?
I’m a zone 4 technically, but zone 3 plants do better here.
Our apple trees bare fruit their first year (I’m not sure how old the actual tree is) They start under 5’ tall. I don’t let them keep the apples till they are more mature though. Plums seem to be the same way. That reminds me, I want a couple plum trees too. Haha.
I’m sure the variety of tree...
Agreed. I would give it a try, but considering how much I dislike wine in general I can’t imagine I could make anything drinkable. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between good or bad wine😆
Is there such a thing as rhubarb infused vodka? I’d drink that. Lol
It has been nice this year...
Interesting! I’ve never attempted to make wine before. I honestly hate wine. I keep trying it because everyone makes it sound so good, but I have yet to try a wine that doesn’t make me wrinkle my nose. Haha.
Is it difficult to make? Does it have the dry aftertaste that most wines seem to have?
I have raspberries, rhubarb, and wild blackberries. I have wild currents too but the wildlife takes them before they even ripen.
Im working on strawberries and grapes. I have 4 plants(S) and got one berry this year. And one grape vine I plated last fall.
Oh, and a couple apple trees. One is new...
It does make for a nice change:) I’ll still never turn down a cinnamon roll, but the fruit just makes it not seem like such a “heavy” treat. Plus I feel guilty that so much of my fruit goes to waste. I’ve hardly used my rhubarb that past few years.
I just wanted to make something different and fresher then the classic cinnamon roll.
Next up will be raspberry sweet rolls. I have one jar of jam made already and will be making more tomorrow. This dang heat wave has made baking a nightmare. Heats the house up too much. :/ But raspberries are...
I was feeling adventurous late last month and made strawberry rhubarb sweet rolls.
I made the jam while the bread was rising.
I only had frozen strawberries on hand, so that’s what I used. Next time will be fresh.
All baked
Simple glaze. Next time I want to try a cream cheese glaze😋
Hope you feel better and recover fast!
My husband had the same surgery done a few years back. It has made a huge difference for him and he is a lot healthier now because of it. No more repeated rounds of z packs and what not.
