    What do y'all do with excessive fruit or veges from the garden? I make dill pickle spears from the cucumbers. This year I have a bumper crop of carrots! I made some carrot jam, but most people are not a fan so it looks like it's time to make carrot cake! Anyone have a great recipe?

    I sell them. I have a business called Peppercorn Acres and sell eggs. If I have lots, I fry em up and give them back to the chickens. If I have WAY too much, I give them to the Red Cross. I make and eat hard boiled eggs daily and use most of them here for other food creations.

    I have tried various recipes for filling using marshmallow cream and other things, but I prefer to just use a white buttercream frosting! Not lazy, it just works better! ;)

    Newly hatched eggs when boiled do not peel easily. Always use your oldest eggs for hard boiling! About 10 days to 2 weeks old eggs and you will see the difference, they are easy to peel and the membrane is loose! :clap
