Not really baking, but I made some lovely energy blocks for the garden birds.
Fat from the chicken skin, some mixed grains and dried black soldier fly larvae
What I did recently, candied orange slices with dark chocolate coating
I mixed 100% and 85% dark chocolate for the coating. As the candied orange slices are sweet enough, the chocolate coating must offer a contrast for a balance.
Lazy these two weeks, so only pancakes :D
Use any recipe you love and add 10g wild blueberry powder, the color is really amazingly nice.
A nice pan also helps a lot, the thickness is necessary for anideal texture.
Hello Bakers, how are you today?
Just finished two loaves of toast, both are very delicious
The structure is very nice
The other one with Valrhona pure cacao powder, so charming.
One for my father-in-law and one for our lovely neighbor, who invites me to pick some plums in their garden.
Again not using oven, but it's cinnamon pancake, much lovely than plain ones.
I pre-mixed two flavors - cinnamon and cacao, and just need to add eggs and milk before making them, very handy.
Have you ever made pancake with yeast instead of baking powder? I want to try next time, but not...
Hallo Bakers, hope you doing fine. I just baked one no-kneat bread this morning, really love how simple but flavorful it is. Another dough is in the fridge now, tomorrow we will also have some fresh bread.
Thanks, i used the lazy method --
1. Cut them into the right size you want (under 100g per portion is quite ideal, more than that will be a bit too much unless it's the main food for a meal)
2. Shape them into balls
3. Make a hole in the center and enlarge the hole gradually until your hand...
Sorry, but I usually didn't follow a fixed recipe, always some modifications.
Here is a simplified steps I used to note when I try a new recipe, maybe a bit rough.
**505 is the flour for making bread here in Germany, as long as the protein is 12-14%, it's ok to use.
Finally some bread! The sunny day makes me happy and want to bake.
The first is a toast with poppy seed and walnut, i love the texture.
The other bread is about going into oven :D
Originally I want to bake a chocolate and walnut toast, but I realized we have no black chocolate at home :hit
So, it's not baking, I made some marmalade :D
Rainy Sunday for Netflix, and then I decided to make a simple cup cake, no specific recipe, i didn't even measure the ingredients, but they are really tasty! I also used some craneberries and a little bit baking chocolate on the top.
Can't be better for taking them with hot coffee!
Yes, i did.
It's basically a Japanese style toast recipe (Nama Shokupan/ 生食パン). Please refer to this video for a reference or use key word "Nama Shokupan" for further recipes available on the internet.
For craneberry or reisin, you can add during final folding and then put into the mold for...
Today is super busy day! Make two different kind of candle, pure soy wax, beeswax and essential oil; some seasoning salt, herb butter and reinforced the run for baby chicks.
Thankfully the craneberry toast is quite tasty, yum.
