They do look like them. Thanks!I'm not positive, but I'm thinking they are lakenvelders or silver laced Orpingtons. Nothing else on Hoover's list seems to match.
ThanksThe laced Wyandotte varieties usually have what I think of as football paint on their faces and back stripes. Since they do not they are most likely either a Silver Lakenvelder or Silver English Orpington. If they continue to be on the smaller size then they are probably the first. I think they flip colors, the head, and tail are black with the primaries/outer wing feathers are edged in black.
