Help! My duck eggs have pipped 18 hours ago. Some are pipping the egg more. I just want to know when they are going to hatch!

Ducks are very slow hatchers so they take their sweet time. Be patient

Yes, ducklings take quite awhile. The longest I’ve had from pip to hatch was 55 hours! You’ll likely have them hatching tomorrow

One duck is unzipping right now! Unfortunately one of them pipped on the wrong side and hasn’t come out yet.

After external pip from air cell end it’s usually 24-48 hours
External pip at wrong end skipping the air cell step of 24 hours will take 48-72 hours
Please leave the eggs be till end of those times
If longer then that you can take pictures and show us what’s going on and we can help

Happy to say all 5 hatched! One I had to assist, it popped in the wrong side and some other reasons. But all are happy and healthy!
