Help My chicken ate a sprouted apple seed

I sprouted some apple seeds and went outside to put them in pots. One of my hens follows me everywhere, i accedently dropped them and she stole one faster than i could block her to pick them all up. I read they are very poisness for chickens. What do i do? She is my favorite sweetest cuddliest bird.

Apple seeds are only dangerous to chickens in large quantites. Not sure about spouted ones though...

I would not be worried about it. My aunt’s chickens always had access to their apple orchard and every fall they would pick apart all of the apples that fell including the seeds. I remember as a kid being completely fascinated with how fast a chicken could devour an apple. She never had any drop dead or show signs of cyanide poisoning. I have some small apple trees and my chickens have access to those too.

My chickens LOVE apples. I just toss an apple in and look at them go!

If you feed your birds nothing but apple seeds, you may get a negative reaction but just one? There's nothing to worry about, they can eat them.
