What is the sex of this silver button quail?

I will be on the lookout, it is really really hard to come by females here where I live. They are more often than not sold only in pairs. It is also almost winter here. Do they lay eggs all year round or do they have specific vreeding seasons?

Look at the vent females show a normal vent but males have like a small bump at the vent

This one looks like a hen to me. The markings on the breast and complete lack of any chin strap markings say hen.
