Update: After acting funny all week we went ahead and attatched our nesting boxes (we went with external) and finished that up yesterday. After watching her go in and out of the coop all morning we left for some time on the lake. When we got back there was an egg in one of the nesting boxes...
I was reading something about the hackle and head coloring being different then it’s usually a cockerel, but at the same time these ees are the ones that tractor supply sells as “americanas “ so idk what they are a mixture of.
One could hope! The black and white one makes me question things because of stuff that I’ve read about coloring, but the comb is still so pale and small… I dunno. I guess I won’t know till I get an egg 😂😂
