The brooder is 90 on on side and cooler on the other. Vent is clean, no pasty butt. I think the crop is emptying, but it's hard to tell. I'll try the cloth/stuffed animal thing. I'm hoping that it is that it's missing the others and will adjust.

Two days ago I bought two polish chicks. One chick has hardly stopped distress chirping since. The temperature is around 90°F. I put their food in the blender in case the crumbles were too big and saw it eat and have a full crop. I saw it take a drink too. It also scratches and pecks around but...

She (hopefully) is about 3 weeks old. I think she is a Red Pyle Old English Bantam. Does it look like she might have the frizzle gene?

On April 14th I bought three bantam chicks, 2 OEG and 1 Porcelain D'uccle. A few days later, the OEG chicks grew their wing feathers, but the D'uccle didn't. April 18th, it wasn't eating or drinking as much as the others and then it passed away during the night. A few weeks later on April...

The gold and black ones look like Golden Sebrights. Does the orange/black one have feathered feet? It looks like a Mille Fleur Bantam (if it has feathered feet, then it might be a D'uccle). The white one looks like a male, and Silkies are harder to tell, but the rest look like girls.

The brown stripe one look like old English game. The orange and grey with feather feet look like Mille Fleur D'Uccle, and the black and tan looks like a Golden Sebright.
