Here’s one on lanky’s son he is 75% RJF 25% OEGB. I’m probably going to breed him into my American Game, and jungle fowl type birds. then retire him as my American game bantam brood cock.

Nice, dude!
Have you gotten any chicks from him yet?
He's slick.

Thanks. I haven’t gotten anything off him yet but in the spring I plan on breeding him over a bunch of American game hens a jungle fowl and a 1/4 RJF/ 1/4 OEGB/ 1/2 American pullet I have. I just picked up 17 American hens I’m going to keep ten so he will have plenty of hens.

I pinned him shortly after I took the last picture. The top pic is him 14 days ago the bottom pic is him today he has already gained .5lbs since I pinned him he is maturing very quickly after I he has been isolated from the broodcock.

They both look great the first one is the right weight. The second one should grow a little bigger.

Awesome, thank you AZ!

What difference do you see quality wise in my 2 girls?
And what should I look for when I bring in new breeding hens?
Az OEGB
Az OEGB
Your welcome, pullet #2 looks more neatly built with a better comb. Use the ones with red ears, also use the neatest built ones like pullet 2 , and follow the SOP the best you can.

Pullet 1 is still really good.
