Wood chips.

In our area, i have seen mommas adopt more than one baby. They also move on pretty fast to grass- or greens of sort.

I will chose an egg...maybe a small one...

Are they on wood chips? I am not a fan because some times they will eat the wood and die. Before they die, the stand with their eyes closed, and head sagging, if they eat wood.

This one is one of the darker eggs, it looks lighter in the flash though.

My 4. The currently have no names.below the 1st to hatch. the second. The 3rdthe 4th was a yellow chick with a black spot on butt.

Plus I forgot to mention, there were 2 black outs during the hatch, 2 days in a row, both 6 hrs + per day.
