    Chicken poop question

Just found this on the patio. Is it a poo to be concerned of? No one is acting sick that I've noticed.

Bought as a brown leghorn....definitely not.

I bought her as a brown leghorn. Shes petite and spazzy like a leghorn, spexially in comparison to the other breeds ive bought. Currently 8 weeks old. Google image search says pearl legbar.

Of course, they apparently didn't upload. I read mystic onyx is autosexing because of the cross with a barred rock

    6-7 week mystic onyx gender?

I know mystic onyx are supposed to be auto seeing and I cannot for the life of me remember if there was a black dot on the head or not - but this one has started making the sound roosters make to call to food. Any insights?

    Brooder temperature with heat plate

Recently moved my brooder to the garage and added a heat plate. The chicks are not going under the plate but instead all on the opposite side of the brooder. Thermometer reads about 68 over there. I have a heat lamp overhead just because the outside Temps are a tad chilly. High of 51 today...

    Sour crop?

I check him through out the day to massage it, then at bed time to assess size and in the morning. We left for vacation the 29th at night and I noticed it when i was saying my goodbyes and was like sheeeeesssshhhh hopefully it's water/food from the day. When I got home Saturday I saw it was...

    Sour crop?

It's surprisingly feeling kind of smaller and more normal this morning. Maybe I'm overreacting for it? I'll keep an eye on it obviously, just in case. If it seems to get bad again I'll use either the nystatin or monistat. Thanks again!

    Sour crop?

Thank you. They get grit but spill it everywhere with my current container for it. They have flock block, AL flock crumbles, get occasional meal worms, and watermelon on hot days.

    Sour crop?

This is Ragnar, my gentle giant. His crop is soft and squishy - still full in the morning. No foul odor from his mouth, no white in his mouth. I'm assuming sour crop. I've massaged it and he hasn't thrown up. What do I need to do, Google gives me a million different answers.

I have no plans on rehoming him. Definitely hoping he can coexist with my bigger rooster

    Four roos?

I honestly have no clue! Same thing with the assorted bin here. I've had suggestions of the same that got, but also kosher king (meat bird). I'm not sure but he is the sweetest guy and he's big!

    Four roos?

Ah yes! I have two just alike and they are definitely pullets

    Four roos?

That's what I was concerned about 🤣. Might be having to choose a favorite and then make a trip to the auction for the rest Sadly. I don't have room for a "bachelor pad"

    Four roos?

You think the red one is an orpington? I was almost certain rhode island red. The tail feathers don't make you think the wyandotte is a roo? That's what I was going off of 🤣

    Four roos?

That's Phyllis, she doesn't make me question haha. I've read it's very hard to sex the polish (feathery top) and was hoping we'd have some good polish experts in here for that one! But that's the one that crowd this afternoon
