    Did your Buff Orpington ever lay? I have a BO that is 13 months old now and she has never laid. Her sisters have all laid since they were ~7 months old.

    Two of my pullets (8 month old and 7 month old) started limping yesterday. They are both favoring their left leg. They seem to be eating, drinking, and going to the bathroom without trouble. They both laid yesterday. Neither has any visible injury on their foot. Any ideas?

    New to the site...

    Hello, I'm fairly new to chickens. We got our first 3 chicks this past March and added 4 more in April. Of the seven, I currently have 5 BO pullets and 1 BO cockerel. I had 6 girls, but one tragically was killed a week ago today. :'( I'm on this forum to get tips and ideas for my feathered babies.

    Keep her super isolated from any other hen? Sounds like she is hungrier because the winter and also she needs to be dominated by a rooster. We are actually going through the same thing right now...
